About this download
The Dawn Minecraft launcher is free and made by InPvP Inc. The launcher shows ads and sells optional cosmetics. You need a Microsoft account that owns Minecraft: Java Edition to play.
On Windows, Dawn opens when you sign in to your PC. You can turn that off in Dawn's settings. The Windows installer may offer Medal, a separate app. It stays off unless you tick it.
To uninstall on Windows, open Settings, then Apps, then Installed apps, and uninstall Dawn. On macOS, drag the Dawn app from Applications to the Trash. On Linux, run flatpak uninstall gg.dawn.Launcher.

When a Dawn player joins your offline Aternos server, Dawn starts it automatically. You don't need to be at your computer. Your friends can start the server by joining through Dawn. It's free.

Yes. Aternos servers are free.
Do I need Dawn to use Aternos?
No, Aternos works on its own. Dawn lets you manage your server inside the launcher, and it starts an offline server when a Dawn player joins.
Can I add mods to my Aternos server?
Yes. Open the server in Dawn and add mods from its Mods tab.
